Continue on Route 4 until it intersects with Rout 7 [North] in Rutland. Continue on Route 7 all the way into Middlebury (about 35 miles). After the fifth traffic light, turn left at the next street, Cross Street which soon curves right to become South Pleasant Street. OPTION #2: From I-89 [North], take the Bethel Exit #3 to Route 107 [West]. Stay on Route 107 until it intersects Route 100 [North], which will be a right turn for you. Continue on Route 100 [North] until the intersection with Route 125 in Hancock. Turn left onto Route 125 [West] and continue over the mountain until intersection with Route 7 [North]. At traffic light at the intersection with Route 149, turn right. Stay on Route 149 until Fort Anne traffic light. Turn left at this light onto Route 4. Stay on Route 4 through Whitehall and into Vermont, taking Exit#4. From Exit#4, take a left onto Route 30. Stay on Route 30 all the way into Middlebury. Cross the bridge in Middlebury, then turn a right on Merchant’s Row, by the Alpine Shop. Continue up that short street for one block and look across the street for a big blue house with black shutters. Pull into driveway at south side of the Inn, and come in the front or rear door.
